Stat Facts … D.J. Kennington has four NASCAR Nationwide Series starts at Richmond International Raceway.  His best career performances at the Virginia oval include two 27th-place finishes.  The Canadian native has finished 82.4 percent of laps attempted and has earned just under $80,000 in purse money. 

Points Position … After nine races, Kennington and the No. 81 team are 24th in NASCAR Nationwide Series owners’ point standings.  They are just 15 points behind the No. 99 team in 23rd, 23 markers behind the No. 87 team in 22 and 86 points outside the top 20. 

Talladega Recap … Last weekend, Kennington qualified the No. 81 machine in the 11th position and ran with the lead pack of cars for the majority of the race.  At one point, Kennington was one lap down to the leaders because of a pit road penalty but was able to battle his way back on the lead lap.  Ultimately, he crossed the finish line 19th  

Did you Know … Kennington made his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut at Memphis Motorsports Park on Oct. 26, 2006.  The Canadian native started 23rd and finished 27th.

Griffin Companies has been providing services to the construction and construction related industries for over 50 years.  They provide services in the following fields:  demolition, dismantlement and erecting, hazardous materials removal, infrastructure, site development, grading and site preparation, used process equipment, new construction, recycling and brownfields site redevelopment. 

Catch the Action … The Lipton Tea 250 at Richmond International Raceway will be televised live on ESPN2 on Fri., May 1 beginning at 7 EDT.  The race will also be broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and Sirius/XM Satellite Radio. Qualifying for the ninth of 35 races on the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series calendar will air live the same day on SPEED at 4 p.m. EDT
